National HIV Testing Day (NHTD): Test Your Way. Do It Today!

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium's HIV/STD Prevention Program and Southcentral Foundation are celebrating 2017 National HIV Testing Day from July 10 - August 31 with a health care provider only contest!

In 2016, 45% of all new HIV diagnosis in Alaska were in Alaska Native people. Additionally, Alaska Native people are less likely to have been tested for HIV ever in their lifetimes.

This year for National HIV Testing Day, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium and Southcentral Foundation are collaborating to make change around HIV. Starting July 10th, prizes will be awarded to providers and clinic teams based on number of HIV tests. Updates on team standings based on Cerner emailed out every two weeks, plus raffle prizes! At the end, there are team and individual grand prizes for most HIV tests.

Be an HIV Prevention Superstar! Nominate a colleague you think deserves recognition for their work to prevent HIV.

Nomination forms will be released in August.
