Resources to Learn More about HIV and PrEP

Resources for Tribal Health Educators, Teachers, Parents, Clinicians and more!

  • Watch Breaking the Silence, Strengthening the Spirit. This is the story about how the Native Village of Kiana responded to one of the first community members to disclose their status to the larger community, Frank Moose, as told by his sister, Selina Moose.
  • Visit Healthy Native Youth, a one-stop-shop for educators and health advocates who want to expand learning opportunities for AI/AN youth.
  • Join the Healthy Native Youth Community of Practice monthly virtual gatherings. Sessions include new resources and opportunities to engage with native professionals in the field. As a community, we share our strengths and experiences about how we will improve the lives of Native youth.
  • Text ‘EMPOWER’ to 94449 to sign up for the Talking is Power weekly text messages that offer culturally appropriate tips and resources covering sexual health, pregnancy, STDs and consent.

Healthy Native Youth Project Red Talon is funded by the Indian Health Service HIV program.

This work is also supported with funds from the Minority AIDS Initiative Fund.
